I love doing things like this, with my children and now my grandbabies. My kids loved seeing the kids shows when they were little, and you can see from the pictures they still do!! Grandpa had fun buying toys and balloons!!! Making Memories!
Our family went to see When Elmo grows up on Friday!! Everyone was able to go but Jason. It was fun and all the kids loved it!!! They were so excited to see their favorite characters!!! We met Jason for lunch and had a fun family day!!!

There is something about lilacs that make me stop and pause! They remind me of when I delivered Joshua in the hospital in Cedar City. I had a room that I shared with 6 other women, we were all college students and had no money. The lilacs were in full bloom in Cedar all the new dads picked lilacs for their wives!!! Our room smelled so great! I remember when I was a little girl we had a big lilac bush in our back yard that we played hide and seek in it. I found these at Costco and just had to have a bunch. I love lilac! I really need to plant a bush!
Lauren found this really cute fabric to make Madison's bumper pads and quilt. Lauren is lucky she has a great mother- in -law who is a great seamstress. They are going to do a patchwork quilt with minky cloth also. I hope that right!!! I think the fabric is cute! I Love Paisley!
Today I went to a funeral of a young man I have known since he was 4 years old. I taught T.C. preschool and two of his other siblings. What a great family Cliff and Becky have!!! T.C. has always been a happy, fun & kind kid!!! I am blessed that I have had the opportunity to see a lot of my preschoolers grow up. T.C. moved into my ward 4 years ago. He greeted me the first Sunday with a big hug and smile,just like he had done so many years ago in preschool. I had talked with him sometime before this when he set me up a day at the Marriott spa (where he was asst. manager). He said to me you take care of children all the time you need a special day let me set it up for you!!!(my preschoolers had given me a gift card that really helped) I went in and first had a treatment called LOST IN PARADISE and it is the most wonderful treatment there, then I went for an hour facial!!! It was the best day!
T.C.'s dad Cliff gave us an assignment from T.C. Live the commandments, and be a little kinder to our fellowman. T.C. gave of himself all the time! It was apparent by the church overflowing with people. I appreciate all he gave to us and he will be missed by our family! T.C. is serving a new mission in Heaven,and we will continue the good work you were doing on this earth by showing more Charity.
We had a great weekend with Rosemary & Bruce. Rosemary brother David and his wife Kay came from California to visit. Sunday we had a nice dinner and caught up with the happenings with everyones lives.
Lauren went to get an ultrasound today and she is having a girl!!! They have decided to name her MADISON TATE she weighs about 10oz now and is due to come September 1st.
We are so excited to have a new baby. The doctor said everything is fine all 10 finger and toes no problems, and she is a chunky baby!!!
Lauren is doing great!! She has another ultrasound April 11th. We should know for sure the sex of the baby then. We are so excited for the new baby!! They got their crib and dresser this weekend it so cute.
Bob has been called to be the 1st counselor in the bishopric of the Cheyenne Ridge Ward. He is serving with Bishop Mike Creer and Brother Toby Peterson. Bob is excited and happy to serve the Lord, and the members of the Cheyenne Ridge Ward. It's Bob's turn now to get up early on Sunday mornings and go to meetings!
Lauren & Jason were married March 18th 2006. It was a wonderful wedding in the Las Vegas Temple. We are so blessed that our children have chosen such great companions.
I loved it when Lauren told us she was going out with Jason,she said" Mom you remember Jason you taught him preschool"!!!!! I said" I do remember Jason but it has been many years since I taught him"!!! I was privileged to have taught all but one of Jason's siblings, and have known his family for years. His grandpa was the one who gave me my first temple recommend when Bob and I got married. Lauren & Jason are having a second honeymoon in Hawaii before the baby comes. They are going to have beautiful children!!!
For Bobs birthday we all went and enjoyed a great family dinner together at Maggianos. Bob's greatest joy is to be with his family, so this night was perfect!!
I made the reservations and we had decided to eat family style(which means they bring unlimited food), as we were waiting for our table the maitre'd said that a private room just became available and would I like it!!! While he was sitting us in the wine room, he informed us that it cost $250.00 to reserve that room!!! Like Emily always says WE ARE BLESSED!!!! We had a wonderful time!!! The babies could run around the table and scream and we never had to worry! We ate and talked for TWO HOURS!!! WE LOVE BEING WITH OUR FAMILY!!! THEY ARE THE BEST!!!
Bob's birthday is March 14th. We want to celebrate him,and the life he has lead. Bob is a good person, a great dad and a wonderful husband and a fun grandpa!! He was a beautiful baby,the picture is with his mom and sister Kaye. Then the next one is when he went to kindergarten, then his very proud Afro stage. For his birthday I gave Bob the office in our house, I have working on it for a month. I cleaned all my stuff out and had the room painted. We bought a new desk and got a new fish tank (Thanks Darrin)!! Now Bob has a place were he can work and do his AFLAC business. It really turned out nice!! The other great news is Bob has been doing ATKINS since September and as of today as lost 50 Lbs.!!!! He looks great and is hoping to lose another 50 by September!! Keep up the great work!!! Your and inspiration to us all!!
