Life is Good!!

Today I had a fun grandma day, it started with story time at the library. Then we went to target to look at all the toys and Christmas decorations. We started our target adventure at the food court, popcorn & slurpees create well behaved children!! It was alot of fun! Grace kept wanting to look for HoHo ( Santa Claus). I found Santa sippy cups for the kids, we looked for a Santa bottle for Madison, but no luck.

It's Lisa's Birthday!! Shout Hooray!

Lisa's birthday is November 13th. We celebrated it as a family on Sunday. Lisa picked the menu, we had shrimp scampi & linguine, basil chicken, magiannios salad, garlic bread, and her favorite french apple pie.

Scentsy Open House

This is at the luncheon we had afterwards, Lisa and Lily went home( Lily was not feeling well), Bob had to go to our ward he is conducting this month. This is a picture of my kids and most of my grand babies, we are missing our Lily bug. Thanks Ted and Debbie for hosting the lunch.

Nie Recovery

Saturday Morning EARLY, we went to the trails in Summerlin for a 5k. Lisa and two of her friends put together this race for a family in Az. who were in a terrible accident. They raised $700.00 dollars for the family. They got several local business to donate prizes and food for the race. They had 100 people show up it was fun. We all helped out. Way to go Lisa, Amber & Holly!!! Josh came in a very close second!!

Halloween Trunk Or Treating

We had fun going trunk or treating with the kids for Halloween, we went with their ward. The next night they came to our ward after that we went to the Walkers for their annual Halloween party. We had a great time!!!!

My Birthday Weekend

I had a great weekend for my birthday!!! My mom and dad called me 7:30 a.m. great way to start my day! My kids took me to McDonald's Friday morning for breakfast.(I love the Yogurt). I then went with my sister to get a pedicure, this was so wonderful!!! I then met my friend and we went to Claim Jumper for lunch and then to the movies, we saw Ghost Town it was a great movie! Not scary at all, I don't like scary movies!

Came home and got ready for Bob to come home. During this time I was showered by many friends with treats, gifts, cards, phone calls, emails. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life!!! Thanks to all of you for thinking of me on this special day. I love birthdays, I have loved my forties!!! I look forward to 50 next year!!! I feel good, I love my family, my friends,my Savior, my job, and I have been so blessed in my life. Bob was going to take me out for Crab but I was so full from my BIG DAY, I wanted North side Nathan's Pizza! I love their Salad and Pizza. We had a great dinner, I saw two of my old Kindergartners there, they were taller than me! We then went to our friends house who are moving to Arizona and helped clean the house!! It was a fabulous Day!

Tonight my kids and grand babies came over for Sunday dinner and made me all of my favorites!!! It was so fun not to have to cook and just enjoy my babies!!!

I have all that I need, so my family gave me one thing I like to splurge on Yes those who know this. I am going to Aquae Sulis (J.W. Marriott Spa) for the " LOST IN PARADISE"!!!! I am going to write down how they describe this in their pamplet.

80 minutes of pure heaven, this really gets rid of any stress! Anybody want to come? You will see a new glow on me next week! My birthday keeps going I have a few more dates this next week with more friends!! Why would I not like my birthday!!!

I received my first Blog Award today. Unfortunately, I missed the Red Carpet event. Amy, over at Raising Redheads awarded me with the BFF blog award. How cool is that! Amy & Steve have been family friends for many years. They have two beautiful Redheads. I was able to keep up with their family when Emily was in PT, Steve was Emily's PT.We lost track of them until I found their blog. Now we can followed their crazy family. Amy loves to sew aprons make sure you check out her blog. Just like at the academy awards, after you win, the following year you get to present. In this case it is the following day. I might not be wearing Diamonds and Pearls but I will accept my award surrounded by children with happy shining faces!!!
