August 30th is a Memorable Day!

Today 6 years ago Emily was in a car accident that left her in a coma for 3 months along with several other medical problems. Her friends were also in the car and her friend Ryan died in the accident. Aug.30th 2002 changed our lives forever. Emily has over come many obstacles with the help of family and friends. We are so proud of her going off to college!
Then we had our 3rd grand baby Aug. 30th 2007 Lily Michelle. Today we had a great party to celebrate!!

Madison Came Home!

The Johnson family came home from the hospital! Great grandma & Great Grandpa Houstoncame into town to see our new baby! Auntie Em was getting all her holding in before she leaves to go back to college!! We will all miss her!!! I was able to spend the night last night and help out with our new precious bundle. I couldn't help and snap more pictures of Madison in her room. She is a sweet baby!We are all in love with her! Grandma Johnson has the privilege of staying tonight! I hope you get more sleep than I did!

MADISON TATE JOHNSON IS HERE!!!

Madison's 1st bathMadison was born at 9:24 p.m. she weighed 6 lbs.4 oz 18 inches. They decided to take her c-section. Lauren and Madison are doing great!!! Jason had the biggest grin I have ever seen when he came out of the operating room. I left my camera with them because they ran out of room on theirs. I will post more pictures that I took when I get my camera back. We are so happy they are all well. She was so calm after birth she laid on her bed and never cried! I got to hold her, there is nothing sweeter than a baby!!! Welcome to the family!!

Lauren's is preparing for Madison's arrival

Lauren and Jason are in the hospital waiting for the arrival of Madison. They did some procedures to get the labor going. The Dr is coming at 7:30 tomorrow morning, we hope to induce her. We left her tonight having labor pains, but nothing consistant. Hopefully we will have a new grandbaby tomorrow.

Emily's first time voting!!!

Today was the first time Emily got to vote! It was so funny the people applauded her when she signed in and then they hugged her and clapped when she put her card in the finished box! Since they were making such a big deal about it I decided to run home and get my camera!! It's not everybody who get a special hurray for voting!!!

I can FINALLY make good Cinnamon rolls!!!!!

Let me just say I have watch and learned from the best of roll makers, and my rolls NEVER turn out good!!!! For my preschool graduation one of my moms made these killer rolls. I got the recipe and tryed them on my own, and they were fabulous!!!! My mom said they were as good as hers! I will put the recipe on the side with my other favorite recipes. Try them, they make good dinner rolls also.

Our visit to see Bob's dad

Saturday we drove to Yucaipa Cailfornia to visit Bob's dad & stepmom. We had a nice visit and went to lunch. Bob's dad cannot drive anymore so we will be making trips to Calif. more often. It was good to see them! Can you see the family resemblance?

Emily Is Home For A Visit!!!

Emily came home to go to the dentist and to be here for the birth of Madison!! she has to go back up to Utah on the 18th!! When she came home the 1st thing she said was where are the babies!!! She loves them and you can see they love Auntie Em!

Josh's Day Off

On Friday August 1st Josh had the day off and call me to see if I would like to go to the YMCA water park! I love swimming so away we went, we were very sad when we found out they don't open until 1:00 to the public!! That is nap time!!! So I called my friend Connie, she has a great pool and we had so much fun playing in the pool! We all had good naps afterwards.
