Over the weekend Bob & I went to San Francisco with a group of friends (Karl & Sue Larsen, Dave & Sheryl Lund). Karl & Sue go at least twice a year and they were our tour guides. Each day we ran around town from 8 AM to 9 PM nonstop!! We rode taxis, cable cars, and walked everywhere!! But in a short 3 days we saw almost everything there was to see in San Francisco!! We hit China Town, Alcatraz, Pier 39,Golden Gate Bridge, Presido District, Union Square,Ghirardelli Square,Fisherman's Wharf,Lombard Street,Nob Hill. The fresh seafood and sourdough bread was amazing!! Karl & Sue were great tour guides!! We had TONS of fun!!

How fun!! That is a long drive...I have done it. What did you think of Alcatrez? I love historic sites. It was kind of spooky to me being where a bunch of prisoners once were!!
